Custom Assay Development Services

For customers who do not have access to a Luminex instrument or for other reasons would rather not perform the genotyping analysis themselves, Marligen offers Signet™ Genotyping Testing Services. Send us your DNA samples, buccal swabs, or other specimens, and Marligen will prepare the samples, run the assays of your choice, and supply you with the data and a genotyping report. Testing Services are offered for genotyping of polymorphisms on the Y-chromosome to determine paternal ancestry and for specific multiplexes that detect polymorphisms and gene variants associated with a variety of health and nutritional conditions including heart and bone health, antioxidant detoxification function, insulin sensitivity, inflammation, obesity and Alzheimer’s disease.

If you require custom multiplex genotyping panels, but would like to perform the testing in your own laboratory, Marligen’s scientists will work with you to design, develop, and manufacture specific custom SNP Genotyping Assays to meet your research needs. All of Marligen Custom SNP Genotyping Assays are configured to be used in conjunction with the Luminex™ System and xMAP® platform.

Off the shelf Signet™ SNP Genotyping Kits are also available for you to perform your own assays on the Luminex® instrument.
