Marligen’s Vantage™ Total RNA and microRNA Purification Kits provide rapid and effective methods of isolating RNAs without the use of phenol or chloroform. Our Total RNA kit purifies all sizes of RNA, from large mRNA and ribosomal RNA down to microRNA and small interfering RNA (siRNA). Marligen’s microRNA Purification Kit specifically isolates and purifies low molecular weight (LMW) RNAs that include the regulatory RNAs such as microRNA and siRNA. The purified LMW RNAs can be used in various downstream application including gene regulation and functional analysis studies.

Marligen’s Vantage™ microRNA Labeling Kit directly labels total or enriched LMW RNA in 45 minutes. This kit utilizes a proprietary labeling technology to provide exceptional sensitivity for the detection of endogenous microRNAs. This method can label any RNA sample including total RNA, enriched LMW RNA, amplified senseRNA and degraded RNA. The simple protocol consists of just two steps. The 3’end of the RNA is polyA tailed followed by the ligation of biotinylated 3DNA™ dendrimers containing 15 biotins to provide signal amplification. This labeling protocol is compatible with the xMAP® platform for the detection of as little as 100ng of total RNA extracted from or < 1pg of input RNA.

Marligen’s Vantage™ Multiplex Detection Panels are disease-specific microRNA profiling panels formatted on the Luminex xMAP® platform. These fast, simple hybridization assays are ready for detection on the Luminex™ reader within 90 minutes. When coupled with Marligen’s Vantage™ Labeling Kit these assays can detect microRNAs in as little as 100 ng total RNA without the need for enrichment or amplification. The Vantage™ microRNA Oncology Detection Panel 1 profiles a broad range of microRNAs associated with a variety of different solid tumors.
