xMAP® Multiplex Assays, Multiplexed Assays, SNP Genotyping

Marligen has developed a family of multiplexed assays for measuring transcription factor activity and for genotyping studies on the xMAP® technology developed by Luminex.

Marligen’s Vantage™ Multiplex Detection Panels are disease-specific microRNA profiling panels formatted on the Luminex xMAP® platform. These fast, simple hybridization assays are ready for detection on the Luminex™ reader within 90 minutes. When coupled with Marligen’s Vantage™ Labeling Kit these assays can detect microRNAs in as little as 100 ng total RNA without the need for enrichment or amplification. The Vantage™ microRNA Oncology Detection Panel 1 profiles a broad range of microRNAs associated with a variety of different solid tumors.

Our Multiplex Transcription Factor Assays combine the power of Marligen's patented technology for multiplexed detection and quantitation of activated transcription factors with the Luminex xMAP® platform to simultaneously measure up to 20 different proteins in the same sample.

Marligen’s Signet™ Genotyping Panels are ready-made multiplexes that detect polymorphisms and gene variants associated with a variety of health and nutritional conditions including heart and bone health, antioxidant detoxification function, insulin sensitivity, inflammation, obesity, and Alzheimer’s disease. These assays have application in nutrition, pharmacogenomics, and toxicology and personalized health. Additional panels are constantly being added to our menu. Individual assays in Signet™ genotyping panels can be configured into Customized Genotyping Panels. For example, ten SNPs from five different panels can be reconfigured into a single customized panel. Choose as many assays as you like from the full assay list and send the list to Marligen for a custom quotation. Once you have chosen your SNPs or variants, Marligen scientists will reconfigure the panels to your specifications, manufacture reagents, validate performance, and send you a complete package ready for use.

The Signet™ Y-SNP Genotyping Kits have been designed to genotype ancestry-related markers on the Y-chromosome.
